Chef Lauren Covas (also known as Lauren Van Liew, her married name), owner of Chef Covas Catering is a culinary virtuoso and a mom who understands the value of time and togetherness. With a passion for both creating unforgettable culinary experiences and fostering memorable moments with loved ones, Lauren is the go-to chef for those who want to impress their guests while still enjoying precious time with family and friends.
As a Food Network Chopped Champion & Supermarket Stakeout Champ, she has showcased her talent, nationally, solidifying her reputation as a master of her craft. She carries a culinary education from the New England Culinary Institute and over 15 years of experience, including an internship at the renowned Boca Raton Country Club and Resort in Florida; and as the only female chef at the illustrious Picasso's restaurant in Las Vegas' Bellagio Resort.
